My name is Ms. Kayla and I am so grateful to be part of the Broomfield Montessori Preschool community. My journey as an educator began with a deep curiosity about how children learn and grow. I discovered the Montessori method—an approach that profoundly resonated with my values, particularly its emphasis on independence, peace education, and the nurturing of the whole child.

With nearly a decade of experience in Montessori education, I have had the privilege of working in a variety of school communities. My passion for early childhood education led me to Arizona, where I earned my AMI Montessori certification for children ages 2 to 6. While in Arizona, I not only taught in several established Montessori environments, but also helped develop a new school—contributing to the design of the classroom environments, building curriculum, and engaging in meaningful community outreach. These experiences further deepened my appreciation for the transformative impact of Montessori education.

Though Arizona was home for nearly seven years, I have always felt drawn to the natural beauty and spirit of Colorado. That dream brought me to Boulder, where I spent the last year mentoring and coaching fellow educators. Now, I am thrilled to be returning to the classroom and to once again walk alongside young learners as they engage in their own process of self-construction.

I bring to Broomfield Montessori a deep commitment to fostering joyful, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. I strive to create a classroom environment filled with creativity, curiosity, warmth, and respect—one that honors each child’s unique path and inspires a lifelong love of learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy hiking Colorado’s trails with my 11-year-old dog, painting, jewelry making, and exploring new creative outlets. I look forward to building strong, collaborative relationships with you and your children, and to contributing positively to this vibrant community.

Hi! My name is Ms. Quiana. I am a Passionate early childhood advocate dedicated to nurturing growth and curiosity in every little mind. With 30 yrs of experience in teaching infants and toddlers, I focus on creating safe, joyful, and stimulating Montessori environments where children thrive.  I am committed to building strong partnerships with families and fostering social-emotional development through compassionate care and teamwork.

In my free time I enjoying gaming on my PS5 and reading. My favorite children’s book is Belly Button by Sandra Boynton.

Hello, my name is Ms. Bethani and I have been around children my whole life. I began my Montessori journey in 2014 and I received my Montessori Infant and Toddler Teaching Certification in 2016 from Montessori Education Center of the Rockies.

I have been working in infant and toddlers for 12 years. I genuinely enjoy being with small children, teaching and learning with them and seeing the magic in them.

In my spare time, I also enjoy being a mother to a wonderful little girl as well as a dog mom.  We enjoy exploring new things, the outdoors, cooking and baking.

Hi, my name is Mrs. Ellie and I am thankful to join the Broomfield Montessori Preschool community.

I grew up in the beautiful country of Panama and later lived in North Carolina and Florida. When my husband received a job offer in Colorado, we moved here in 1997, and our family instantly fell in love with the stunning Rocky Mountains.

With 23 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I have spent 12 of those years working in Montessori environments, including six years as a Montessori Lead Guide. I hold my Childhood Teacher Certification, Director Qualifications, and a Montessori certificate from the North America Montessori Center.

In 2014, I was honored to be nominated for the Adam County Terrific Teacher Event, where I received the ECE Professional Certificate for the passionate work my team and I accomplished. Additionally, I was recognized by Metropolitan State University for my contributions to Mentoring Services.

My educational philosophy centers around observing children for who they truly are, respecting their unique individuality, and helping them uncover their gifts through natural exploration of the world around them.

In my spare time, I love paddle boarding on serene lakes. I also enjoy biking without a particular destination, relishing the journey itself. For me, the thrill lies in being adventurous and discovering where the path leads, all while taking in the breathtaking landscapes that Colorado has to offer.

My name is Ms. Selene, and I have been so happy to be a part of the Broomfield Montessori Preschool community.

I began my journey in early childhood education three and a half years ago. Over this time, I have really enjoyed exploring various educational methods, but discovering the Montessori philosophy two years ago was a true turning point for me. I currently hold several early childhood certifications, as well as a Montessori certification as a primary assistant.

I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of age groups, including infants, toddlers, and children from three to six years old. This experience has helped me grow immensely and has deepened my passion for children’s education. 

Getting to observe so many of the toddlers here learn and grow has been so amazing and rewarding for me.

Outside of school I enjoy different activities, baking and cooking are my favorites but I also enjoy nature exploration, driving around different places and trying new hobbies. I love to do spontaneous activities and spending quality time with my family. 

Hello! My name is Lauren Hancock, and I’m thrilled to be joining the Broomfield Montessori Preschool team. I’ve recently moved from Orange County, California, and I’m so excited to be here.

I believe in creating a positive, nurturing, and safe environment for young children to grow and develop. I’m passionate about early education and eager to continue my studies in Montessori as I work towards my Montessori Infant and Toddler Teaching Certificate.

Outside of the classroom, I love spending time with my family and friends, baking, camping, reading, and crocheting blankets.

Welcome! I am Ms. Angela. I am the Director and Founder of Broomfield Montessori Preschool.

With 15 years of experience in Early Childhood Education, I hold my Bachelor's degree from Naropa University and an Early Childhood Montessori Teacher Certificate from Montessori Education Center of the Rockies.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my family. I also love hiking, cooking, and oil painting!

My name is Miss Alma and I grew up right here in Colorado.

I love working with the toddlers in the classroom and most importantly building trust with their families and helping to create a caring and loving Montessori environment for them.

I always love keeping busy! When not being focused on the classroom, I am also continuing my studies in business administration. In my free time, I really enjoy shopping and getting a good workout in. I also find coloring to be a really relaxing way to unwind. 

​Hello! My name is Ms. Analise. I am very excited to be part of the community here at Broomfield Montessori Preschool.

I have 4 years of experience teaching young children. I hold a Bachelors degree with a major in psychology and minor in nutrition along with an Associate’s Of Holistic Health.

I truly enjoy being around children and watching them learn and grow. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family. My weekends are most likely full of soccer, basketball, or football games, dance competitions or recitals. I also enjoy scrapbooking, card making, camping, and swimming.

Hi! My name is Emma, and I am so excited to be a part of the Broomfield Montessori Preschool community! I am originally from Whitefish, MT, and have just recently moved to the area.

I have 12 years of childcare experience, including the last 2.5 years working in Early Childhood Education at Children’s House Montessori School in Whitefish. I actually attended the school myself as a toddler, so it has been especially meaningful to be a part of such a wonderful, tight-knit community. My time there has deepened my love for working with young children and for the Montessori approach to early childhood education.

When I’m not working at a preschool or babysitting kiddos, I’ve also spent the last three years teaching adults how to tap dance (I know, niche hobby!). It is the best time ever! I also enjoy skiing, which I’ve been doing since I was two years old, dancing, reading books, making homemade cards, being crafty, going to concerts, baking and cooking, and watching TV and movies.
